Lee Lowry studied oboe and English horn with Orlan Thomas, formerly of the University of Nebraska. He has played in the Hastings and Lincoln Symphonies, as well as the University of Nebraska Orchestra and Great Plains Music Society. He has been a long time member of Lincoln Community Concert Band and the Pinewood Bowl orchestra. He is a frequent soloist in several area churches. Lee currently plays oboe and English horn in Lincoln Civic Orchestra and Great Plains Chamber Winds.
