Susan Hraban has studied with Orlan Thomas, formerly of the University of Nebraska and with Kermit Peters, former principal oboist with the Omaha Symphony. She is a former member of the woodwind quintet group, "Quintessence", of McCook, Nebraska and was also principal oboist for Great Plains Music Society.
She is currently a member of Lincoln Civic Orchestra and Great Plains Chamber Winds.
